At Cardiff Halloween Festival we want everyone to feel welcome and able to enjoy the magic. Below you’ll find practical information to help plan your visit.

The Island is set on a mix of tarmac and grass.

Most areas, including attractions, food stalls, toilets, and stage areas, are step-free and accessible for wheelchairs and buggies.

Premium experiences are also step-free and paths are planned with wheelchairs in mind, or with alternative routes if needed.

The Barrage Car Park (Penarth side) also has accessible spaces, but does not provide access to the Ghost Ship.

Drop-off is possible outside the Wales Millenium Centre and at other spots within Cardiff Bay

The Ghost Ship is weather dependent and has access for wheelchairs.

If the boat cannot sail due to weather conditions, the Island remains fully accessible on foot via the Cardiff Bay Barrage (approx. 15 minutes from Mermaid Quay).
CaRers
Guests who require support are entitled to a free carer ticket. This can be booked online with a valid registration or proof of eligibility.
SeNsorY ConsideRaTioNs
Cardiff Halloween Festival at Halloween Island includes live shows, music, flashing lights, and special effects. A quieter area is available if guests need a break from the action.
