GETTING HERE
Halloween Island takes place at Alexandra Head, Cardiff Bay
ArrIVE BY Ghost SHIP
The most magical way to begin your adventure!
Hop aboard the Ghost Ship at Mermaid Quay and glide across Cardiff Bay straight to the Island entrance.

Our boats depart from the waterfront at Mermaid Quay, right beside the Celtic Ring on Roald Dahl Plass, in the heart of Cardiff Bay. Simply head towards the water — you won’t miss us!

Please note: the Ghost Ship is weather dependent. If it cannot sail, the Island is still fully open and accessible on foot (approx. 15 minutes across the Barrage).
Arrive on FOOt
Enjoy a scenic walk across the Cardiff Bay Barrage. It’s around 15 minutes from Mermaid Quay to Alexandra Head. From Penarth, follow the barrage path across the water for another scenic route to the island.
BY CAR
Follow signs for Cardiff Bay (not Alexandra Head).
From the west (M4 J33) → A4232
